I completed the class Introduction to Digital Imaging with a final grade of 79 and a new understanding of composition, Pictorialism, PhotoMontage, Surrealism and photomanipulation within Photoshop. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to motivate myself to work harder and really create some extraordinary pieces. I guess it will serve me well to try and step into my next class with more passion and commitment.
In the final week of Introduction to Digital Imaging I focussed on completing Assignment #3, which entered the realm of surrealism. Because I have been battling a cold/flu, the time has been limited so I have only included a brief overview of my last submission.
In week two of Introduction to Digital Imaging I continued to explore ways to use Photoshop to manipulate images with the use of adjustment layers, selection tools and clipping masks. I also began to evaluate the definition of composition in photography and digital imagery.
I have completed my first week of Introduction to Digital Imaging with CSU. In week 1 we began by examining the unit outline and becoming familiar with the assessment outlines.
